We're excited to help you learn Japanese with some awesome YouTube channels. These are mostly run by native Japanese speakers, sharing their English learning experiences in both languages.

The best part? Most videos have both English and Japanese subtitles, so you can practice listening and checking meanings in either language. Ready to dive in? Let's go!

Chinatsu The Emo

Chinatsu is currently living in Australia and loves learning and speaking the English language. Her goal in her channel is to create a community of people who want to expand their potential through English. Now that she is overseas, she understands that English is not something that only certain people can master. English is for everyone.

Her video content consists of her English learning, overseas lifestyle, and general wellness.

Rupa Sensei

Rupa Sensei's channel is a good way to see interactions and real conversations between two English speakers. His content contains many collaboration videos with other language learners or English speakers, as well as videos of social experiences to see how people respond to the English language.

He teaches English by using references or clips from well known western films, animated movies, and even interviews of well known celebrities.

This is a great channel for those who prefer learning by listening and analysing the conversation of others, with the proper guidance and explanation from a teacher.

Ayane。

Ayane's channel started very recently but she has managed to gain a decent amount of followers in a short space of time. Her down-to-earth and relaxed content is easy to follow and you can enjoy going along her English learning journey together.

Also, as Ayane has no experience studying or going abroad as of now, she can be a good inspiration and give you a sense of expectation of how well you can still speak English, without having all the abroad experiences!

タロサックの海外生活ダイアリー TAROSAC

I'm sure many of us have seen a YouTube shorts or instagram reel pop up during our scrolling sessions of this YouTuber!

Currently, his main content is interviewing foreigners in Japan, locals in other countries and asking questions like cultural differences. One of the highlights of TAROSAC's vlogs, is where he immerses himself in local activities and shares his personal interactions with the people he meets along the way.

All his English speaking videos have both English and Japanese subtitles, so as well as simply enjoying the interviews, you can also treat them as a way to learn conversational English!

Saya Fujihara

This channel mainly focuses on teaching the viewers frequently used English phrases, simple short and useful sentences, and phrases that may have a different meaning to its literal translation.

Saya Fujihara's videos are reasonably short so it's a great way to learn a few new words or phrases a day and doesn't take up a lot of your time. She speaks in a friendly and casual way and matches the tone and meaning of the English phrases to the Japanese translations very accurately, so it's like you're learning from a friend!
